Invisalign®

Dr. Fischer has embraced using Align Technology's Invisalign© system since it first became available in 2000. Since then, we have provided the clear, removable aligners to hundreds of patients, helping them get their teeth straightened without metal or plastic braces attached to their teeth.

As a member of Invisalign's 'feedback' group, clinical research team, and Speakers Bureau, Dr. Fischer has treated a wide variety of Invisalign cases, ranging from simple cases to complex, extraction cases. He participates in research studies and feedback groups for Align and has been asked to be a featured speaker at the annual Invisalign Summit and various training workshops.

Because Invisalign is a relatively new treatment technique in orthodontics, many dentists and even some orthodontists are 'naysayers' when asked about aligners by their patients. But, as the completed case research continues to grow and by what we have seen in our practice, there is NO question that Invisalign is an effective and proven system that will straighten teeth as promoted. Our own patients overwhelmingly support their decision to use aligners and are very happy with their final result.

Anyone with nearly all of their permanent teeth showing (except wisdom teeth) can be potential Invisalign patients. In our practice, there is not much difference in the treatment fee compared to regular braces. We are even finding that the treatment time for Invisalign cases is usually shorter than for regular braces. Considering all of this and the convenience of aligners being clear, removable, and more comfortable than regular braces, Dr. Fischer encourages his patients to consider using Invisalign if they will commit to wearing the removable aligners as instructed.
