About Our Fees
The only answer to the question "What does orthodontic treatment cost?" is, of course, "Whatever the orthodontist charges." This example illustrates the wide variation of orthodontic fees from one practice to another. Although our practice is neither a "high fee" nor a "low fee" practice, we believe our fees are appropriate for the high quality of service and treatment we provide to our patients.
We do not charge a fee to meet with the patient and evaluate their orthodontic needs. If the patient chooses to take the next step, we will take digital records (x-rays and photographs) and create a complete proposal for the diagnosis and treatment options.
Most orthodontic practices assign an arbitrary amount to their treatment fee. Our treatment fees are based upon the addition of the various procedure charges related to the patient's treatment. Therefore, we have many different fees depending upon the anticipated treatment time, the complexity of the required treatment, and the types of braces used.
Once the treatment plan (and insurance benefits, if available) are determined, we can arrange a comfortable down payment/monthly payment plan, or offer a bookkeeping discount if the fee is paid-in-full. Oh, yes, we are also happy to give family discounts when multiple family members are in treatment at the same time. For your convenience, we can also use an automatic credit card debit plan if you prefer. We will try to make the payment part of the treatment as easy for you as possible.
